Metabolic Health 120c by Thorne
Modern lifestyles, aging, and environmental factors can all lead to metabolic alterations that can have a negative effect on your weight and health. Metabolic Health by Thorne may help to counteract these factors. It increases metabolism, encourages normal inflammatory responses throughout the body, and reduces stress hormones that could impede your goals. Thorne's Metabolic Health is a combination of two scientifically-validated herbal extracts, bergamot and curcumin, both of which have been utilized in Traditional Eastern and Western botanical medicine for centuries. This unique formula takes advantage of the bioactivity of both nutrients to target the body's metabolic processes. Curcumin phytosomes and bergamot work together to balance hormones and inflammatory reactions that can impede a weight management program.*• Reduces abdominal fat, waist circumference, and BMI.
• Supports healthy weight by balancing the cortisol response in stressful situations.
• Balances chemicals within fat cells - Adiponectin, Leptin – to promote weight management and improved fat metabolism.
• It supports insulin sensitivity and helps glucose metabolism to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.

INTERACTIONS
Curcumin has been shown to reduce the therapeutic efficacy of cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) in animal studies. In vitro research revealed that curcumin decreased camptothecin-induced death of cultured breast cancer cells. Curcumin might also interfere with the absorption and efficacy of the chemotherapy drug irinotecan, used to treat colon cancer. The concurrent use of curcumin with these agents should be avoided.
