OptiFerin-C by Pure Encapsulations – Red Blood Cell Support
OptiFerin-C by Pure Encapsulations is a vegan capsule formula made with Ferrochel® iron bis-glycinate, calcium ascorbate blend, and ascorbyl palmitate for adults seeking targeted iron nutrition. This iron bis-glycinate supplement provides 28 mg of iron per capsule to support hemoglobin, ferritin, and normal red blood cell function.
OptiFerin-C pairs Ferrochel iron with buffered vitamin C from calcium ascorbate blend to assist nonheme iron absorption while keeping the formula gluten-free, non-GMO, hypoallergenic, vegetarian, and vegan. The product is designed for adults who need practitioner-guided ferritin support without unnecessary binders, coatings, shellacs, artificial colors, or sweeteners.
Key OptiFerin-C Benefits
- Provides red blood cell support through 28 mg of iron as iron bis-glycinate.
- Helps maintain hemoglobin and ferritin, proteins involved in iron storage and oxygen movement.
- Promotes oxygen transport support for adults with increased iron demands or restricted dietary iron intake.
- Combines iron with calcium ascorbate blend to assist mineral uptake from the digestive tract.
- Uses a vegan iron supplement format made without gluten, GMOs, dairy, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, magnesium stearate, coatings, shellacs, or artificial sweeteners.
How OptiFerin-C Works
OptiFerin-C works by supplying iron bis-glycinate for hemoglobin formation, ferritin maintenance, and normal oxygen transport in red blood cells. Ferrochel® iron bis-glycinate is an iron amino acid chelate designed for intestinal uptake, while calcium ascorbate blend supplies vitamin C activity that assists nonheme iron handling during digestion.
Key Functional Ingredients Include:
- Iron: 28 mg as iron bis-glycinate supports hemoglobin, ferritin, and normal red blood cell function.
- Vitamin C: 100 mg from calcium ascorbate blend assists nonheme iron absorption and contributes antioxidant nutrient support.
- Calcium: 11 mg from calcium ascorbate blend contributes to the buffered vitamin C complex in the formula.
- Ferrochel® iron bis-glycinate: a chelated iron form selected for adult iron stores and exercise-related iron demands.
OptiFerin-C is made with hypoallergenic, vegetarian ingredients and is verified free from wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, artificial colors and sweeteners, coatings and shellacs, GMOs, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, unnecessary binders, fillers and preservatives, magnesium stearate, gluten, trans fat and hydrogenated oils.
OptiFerin-C Is Formulated For
- Adults seeking targeted iron nutrition for red blood cell and energy support.
- Adults with practitioner-identified needs for healthy ferritin, hemoglobin, and oxygen transport.
- Adults preferring a gluten-free, non-GMO, hypoallergenic, vegetarian, and vegan capsule.
- Adults who want iron paired with calcium ascorbate blend for digestive absorption support.

Frequently Asked Questions About OptiFerin-C
What are the benefits of OptiFerin-C?
OptiFerin-C supports healthy red blood cell function by delivering iron as Ferrochel® iron bis-glycinate, a chelated form selected for adult iron nutrition. The iron in OptiFerin-C contributes to hemoglobin, the protein in red cells that moves oxygen, and to ferritin, a storage protein that helps keep iron available. The calcium ascorbate complex adds vitamin C activity beside the mineral rather than leaving absorption support to diet alone. OptiFerin-C may be especially relevant for adults with practitioner-identified iron needs, including menstruating adults, people with limited dietary iron intake, and athletes monitoring iron status. The vegan capsule format avoids unnecessary additives, which helps adults keep an iron plan simple and label-transparent.
Who should take OptiFerin-C?
Adults should take OptiFerin-C when a healthcare practitioner has identified a need for supplemental iron, ferritin maintenance, or red blood cell support. Pure Encapsulations lists OptiFerin-C for adult use and targeted energy support. The formula may fit people who prefer iron bis-glycinate rather than ferrous sulfate, people who want vitamin C activity included in the same capsule, and people avoiding major allergens, artificial sweeteners, coating agents, shellac, magnesium stearate, trans fat, or hydrogenated oils. OptiFerin-C is not a casual daily multivitamin replacement; iron intake should match lab status, diet, menstrual status, training demands, and medication use. Practitioner guidance is the dull but necessary part here.
Are there any side effects of taking OptiFerin-C?
OptiFerin-C can cause side effects or safety concerns if iron is not appropriate for the person taking it, especially because iron-containing products require careful handling around children. The label states: If you are pregnant or lactating, have any health condition or are taking any medication, consult your health professional before use. The label also states: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. KEEP THIS PRODUCT OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Adults should also use OptiFerin-C only if the safety seal is intact and should follow practitioner directions for lab monitoring.
How does OptiFerin-C support overall health?
OptiFerin-C supports overall health by helping adults maintain iron-dependent processes that affect oxygen delivery, energy metabolism, and normal red blood cell activity. Iron is required for hemoglobin, ferritin, and the routine renewal of circulating red cells. The calcium ascorbate blend places vitamin C activity beside the mineral so the formula addresses both iron supply and digestive handling. OptiFerin-C also keeps the inactive ingredient list short, using a vegetarian capsule, ascorbyl palmitate, and plant fiber instead of common unnecessary additives. Because iron status can be too low or too high, OptiFerin-C belongs in a monitored plan, not a guesswork supplement stack.
