Lactozyme is a dietary supplement from Biotics Research Corporation that supplies the probiotics Bifidobacterium bifidum and DDS-1 (Lactobacillus acidophilus) organisms. Every tablet provides 50 million organisms each of Bifidobacterium bifidum and DDS-1 (Lactobacillus acidophilus) organisms when grouped together. Antibiotics kill off bacteria, they don t know the difference between the good and bad organisms, therefore following antibiotic therapy the balance between good and bad bacteria in the intestines can become unsettled. Biotics Research recommends one (1) Lactozyme tablet with each meal as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
Biotics Research Lactozyme Active Ingredients:
Vegetable culture concentrate , Lactobacillus acidophilus (DDS-1), and Bifidobacterium bifidum. Specially grown, biologically active vegetable culture containing naturally associated phytochemicals including polyphenolic compounds with SOD and catalase, dehydrated at low temperature to preserve associated enzyme factors.
Other Ingredients:
Each Lactozyme tablet contains 50 million each of Lactobacillus acidophilus (DDS-1) and Bifidobacterium when packaged. Contains an ultra-trace amount (<0.007 ppm) of milk constituents, which are used in the fermentation of probiotic ingredients. This Biotics Research product is gluten free.
