HLC High Potency Capsules by Seroyal Pharmax offer a unique synbiotic formula for intestinal health in adults and children. This supplement contains 10 billion colony forming units (CFU) per serving of two strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis. It also includes 100 mg of fructooligosaccharides (FOS) per serving. A randomized, placebo-controlled trial involving 22 adults showed daily supplementation with a probiotic containing Lactobacillus acidophilus supported a healthy microflora balance. Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria, the most commonly used probiotics, help colonize the intestines and mediate the permeability of epithelial cells. This formula may help to support a healthy digestive system, boost the immune system, and address symptoms such as gas, bloating, and occasional constipation.
