Time Release Niacin by Ortho Molecular Products is a sustained-release niacin supplement designed to support cardiovascular health, healthy blood lipid levels, and balanced cholesterol metabolism. This practitioner-formulated vitamin B3 product uses a natural wax-matrix coating technology to release niacin gradually over six to eight hours, helping promote HDL support, lipid balance, and better tolerance with minimal flushing.

Key Time Release Niacin Benefits

  • Supports healthy blood lipid levels already within the normal range
  • Promotes healthy high-density lipoprotein levels
  • Helps maintain healthy low-density lipoprotein levels and lipid particle size
  • Supports healthy triglyceride levels

How Time Release Niacin Works

This sustained-release niacin formula delivers niacin slowly over a six- to eight-hour period to help reduce flushing while supporting healthy cholesterol balance. Niacin, also known as nicotinic acid, helps promote healthy lipoprotein metabolism, supports nitric oxide synthase activity, and assists the body in maintaining healthy circulation and cardiovascular function.

Frequently Asked Questions About Time Release Niacin - 90 CT

What are the main health benefits of Time Release Niacin?

Time Release Niacin is designed to support healthy cardiovascular function, balanced cholesterol metabolism, and healthy triglyceride levels already within the normal range. This sustained-release vitamin B3 supplement may help promote healthy HDL cholesterol levels while supporting circulation and endothelial function. Because the niacin is released gradually over several hours, it may also provide improved tolerance compared to immediate-release niacin products. Many healthcare practitioners recommend time release niacin as part of a comprehensive wellness and heart health support plan.

How does Time Release Niacin work in the body?

Time Release Niacin works by delivering niacin, also known as nicotinic acid or vitamin B3, slowly over a six- to eight-hour period. This gradual release helps support healthy lipid metabolism and nitric oxide production while helping reduce the likelihood of rapid flushing. Niacin plays a role in cellular energy production and cardiovascular wellness by supporting healthy blood vessel function and lipid transport. Sustained-release delivery may also help maintain more consistent nutrient availability throughout the day.

Who should consider taking Time Release Niacin?

Adults seeking nutritional support for cardiovascular wellness, healthy cholesterol balance, or healthy triglyceride levels may consider Time Release Niacin under the guidance of a healthcare practitioner. It may be especially useful for individuals looking for a well-tolerated vitamin B3 supplement with sustained delivery. People interested in supporting healthy HDL levels, circulation, and overall heart health may also benefit from this formula as part of a healthy lifestyle that includes proper nutrition and exercise.

Are there any side effects or precautions associated with Time Release Niacin?

Some individuals taking Time Release Niacin may still experience mild flushing, warmth, redness, or tingling sensations, although the sustained-release delivery system is designed to minimize these effects. Avoiding hot beverages near dosing may help reduce flushing episodes. Individuals who are pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or managing a medical condition should consult a healthcare practitioner before use. Following the recommended dosage instructions may help improve tolerance and support safe supplementation practices.

I tried 3 other pure niacin preparations including a "slow release" type, but this is the only one that produces practically no "flush" and after a couple of weeks, literally no "flush"

Excellent product recommended by my cardiologist. Tried a similar product with negative results. Claimed to be slow release, but caused extremely uncomfortable flushing.
