Jarro-Dophilus Oral Probiotic Peppermint by Jarrow Formulas contains over 1 billion Lactobacillus brevis CECT 7480 and Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 7481 probiotic strains per lozenge. L. brevis CECT 7480 and L. plantarum CECT 7481 were isolated from the oral cavity of a healthy infant and studied in vitro and in vivo. These documented strains help promote and maintain beneficial oral microflora for the health of the gums and teeth and better breath.*?á

Jarrow Formulas suggests, for optimal digestion and absorption into the stomach and gastrointestinal tract, slowly dissolveing at least 1 lozenge in mouth daily for at least five (5) minutes, or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional. Preferably place lozenge between gums and a cheek, moving saliva around oral cavity to distribute the probiotic bacteria. Do not use less than one hour before brushing teeth or using mouthwash. Suitable for adults and children over three years of age.
